The increase compared to 2021 is mainly related to an increase in consumption and partly also on average a 4% increase in tariffs in the 4th quarter of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Sales to customers outside the main service area increased by 0.2% to \u20ac5.32 million, being impacted by an increase in the wastewater disposal service revenues.<\/p>\n<p>Sales from the operation and maintenance of storm water and fire hydrants system in the main service area in 2022 amounted to \u20ac4.64 million, showing an increase of 14.5% or \u20ac0.17 million year-on-year.<\/p>\n<p>Sales of construction services were \u20ac4.81 million, decreasing by 34.4% or \u20ac2.52 million year-on-year. The decrease was mainly related to lower pipe construction revenues accompanied by lower volume of work in first nine months. Lower sales were due to postponed procurements in the road construction from public sector due to uncertainty in the period in 2021. Total direct production costs (water abstraction charges, chemicals, electricity, and pollution tax expenses) amounted to \u20ac13.58 million, showing a 57.8% or \u20ac4.97 million increase compared to the equivalent period in 2021. Higher costs from wastewater treatment were partly balanced by 43.6% lower usage of antifoaming agent, worth +\u20ac0.04 million.<\/p>\n<p>Expenses for electricity increased by 100.2% or \u20ac4.62 million resulting in costs worth of \u20ac9.23 million due to on average an 61.6% higher electricity price.<\/p>\n<p>Other costs of goods sold (staff costs, depreciation, construction and asphalting services costs and other costs of goods sold) amounted to \u20ac24.07 million, being on the same level compared to 2021. The changes in other costs of goods sold were mainly driven by 36.8% or \u20ac2.20 million lower expenses related to construction services and 13.6% higher staff costs.<\/p>\n<p>The Group\u2019s profit before taxes for the 2022 gross profit for the 2022 was \u20ac16.90 million, showing a decrease of 17.9%  or \u20ac3.68 million compared to the comparative period of An increase mainly derives by \u20ac2.04 million higher receivables from water and construction services. The collectability rate continues to be high at 99.85% compared to December 2021 when the collectability rate was the same.<\/p>\n<p>Current liabilities have increased by \u20ac3.00 million to \u20ac18.49 million compared to the end of 2021, mainly deriving from investments related increase in prepayments of new connections.<\/p>\n<p>Deferred income from connection fees has increased compared to the end of 2021 by \u20ac1.91 million to \u20ac39.15 million.<\/p>\n<p>Provision for possible third-party claims is at the same level compared to the end of 2021 on \u20ac6.02 million.<\/p>\n<p>The Group\u2019s loan balance of \u20ac80.45 million has decreased by \u20ac3.63 million in 2022. Earlier NIB loan is being returned in 11 equal semi-annual payments. The weighted average loan interest risk margin as of 31\/12\/2022 is 3.0%.<\/p>\n<p>The Group has total debt to assets level of 56.26%, in range of 54%-65%, reflecting the Group\u2019s equity profile. In the comparative period of 2021, the total debt to assets ratio was at the same range, being share was \u20ac12.54, which is 13.40% lower (2021: +9.28%) compared to the closing price of \u20ac14.48 at the end of the previous year.
